This chapter is from their childhood.
Ekansh is 9 years old while saanvi is 3 years old.
EKANSH'SPOV

I am in the orphanage  with mumma when Sandhya aunty comes with a little girl crying in her arms  towards us.

I pulled mumma's dupatta and said "Mumma, baby is crying.I dont like it"

She ruffled my hair and said" Eku, she just lost her parents in an accident  and she misses them. This is a new place for her .. she have no friends here."

I nodded and went to the little girl and wiped her tears and kiss her forehead while she looks at me with her big doe eyes.

I look at mumma and said" Mumma, i stopped  my baby from crying...I did same thing which u do to me when i cry."

Mumma smiled and kissed my cheeks and said" mere pyaaara beta " and moved to the little girl and made her sit on her lap.

Mumma: Baby, whats ur name?

I frowned and said" Mumma, she is my baby.I call her baby only."

She chuckled and said" Acha baba"

The girl giggled and said" My name is Saanvi Malhotra. Mumma - dadda left me "

She said and she began to cry again.

I went to her and again wiped her tears and said " Ava, No cry baby." and kissed her forehead.

She sniffled and look at me and pouted  and said" Dadda used to kiss me here " and pointed to her head where i just kissed .

I smiled and said" Dont worry ,I will give u many forehead kisses from today on his behalf. But u please dont cry .I dont like my friend cry."

She frowned and pointed to herself and asked " me? your friend?"

I nodded and said" I am Ekansh Rathore .She is my mumma"

I said and pointed to my mumma.

She smiled and said" Ansh, u are my friend. Will u give me chocolates too ? Dadda used to give many chocolates"

I smiled and said "Yes ,my ava I will. But u promise me u wont cry ."

She clapped her hands and said" Yayy! chocolates " and kissed my cheeks and said" I promise ,ansh"

Pallavi : Saanvi, Lets get you freshen up then u can play with other kids.

Ava look at mumma and said " But who change my clothes? Mumma used to do it"

Mumma: Main hu naa, beta

She giggled and said" Bubbles?"

I frowned and mumbled" But there are no bubbles here." in a low voice

Saanvi heard me and her lips wobbled .I cupped her face and said " dont worry , baby.. I will call my dad or my driver uncle ..he will get bubbles for u then u can take bath..till then we can talk or decide the outfit "

She smiled and hugged me and said" Thank you, ansh . You are my best friend"

I hugged her and ruffled her hairs while she giggled .

I took her from mumma's arms and picked her up and said" Now baby, whats your favourite colour?"

she kept her head on shoulder and mumbled" avu likes yellow"

I nodded and caress her hairs and soon she was felt asleep in my arms.

Mumma: Eku, beta voh so gyi 

I nodded and whispered" I know mumma, let her sleep... my ava would tired after crying soo much.. U call driver uncle to get a yellow dress for her and bubbles for her bath."

She smiled and said" Dhyaan apna aur iska ,hmm"

I nodded and kissed my baby's forehead and whispered" I will always protect my ava from any harm...I will be her shield , mumma . No one will be able to hurt my baby  until I am beside her...She will always be under my protection.."

Mumma smiled and went away.

I look at my ava sleeping and looking soo cute .

Yash ( a child in orphanage) came towards me and said" ekansh bhai , chal khelte h"

I shook my head and whispered and glared at him " dheere aur dheema bolo.. my baby is sleeping...dont disturb her sleep else  u will face the consequences" 

He nodded  and went away and i sat on the sofa while carrying my sleeping baby in my arms.

After an hour ,

Driver uncle came and said" chote sahab, yeh apka saaman"

I gave him a curt nod and he kept the thing on the side table.

I  shook ava.. she didnt woke up..

I then caress her head and said softly" Baby ,wake up.. and lets get freshen up and then ansh and his ava will go to play on swings and have alot of chocolates"

She smiled  still sleeping and mumbled " chocolates " in her sleepy voice .I chuckled and said" utho ava.."

She whined and snuggled to me and said" Nhi ansh... mujhe nini aa rhi h "

I caress her cheeks and said" Baby , freshen up and have something and then u can sleep"

She nodded and mumma came to take her for bath .

After 30 minutes , she came running to me  in her yellow dress and two pigtails and then stopped infront of me and twirled and said" Kesi lag rhi hu , ansh"

Ekansh: Bilkul ansh ki ava 

She giggled and held my hands and said" swings "

I chuckled and then we began to play .

It was evening,

Mumma callled me and said" Chalo ekansh , time to go home . You can meet saanvi tomorrow"

I look at saanvi face and noticed how her smile vanished and a pout took the place and how her eyes turned a little teary.

I shook my head to her and she cutely wiped her tears and mumbled" avu dont want to bye bye ansh"

I look at mumma and said" She is coming with us ."

Mumma: Beta , we cant do this.She have to live in the orphanage . Aadat dalni padegi usko..Aur kal tum aaoge toh sahi usse milne

I shook my head and said" Meri ava mere saath ghar chalegi... Usko iss orphanage me rehne ki koi need nhi h .. uske pass main hu."

Mumma : Its againt orphanage policies.
I sighed and said" Let her stay with us for a month .. uske baad i will explain her everything , please mumma. She just lost her parents.. If i also leave her alone right now..she will be very sad and i cant see  her sad.

Mumma: aachaa theek h 

She said making my ava smile brightly as she hugged me and made grabby hands asking me to pick her up.I picked her up and she kissed my cheeks as i kissed her forehead. She giggled making me  smile and then we three went to our palace and we had dinner and soon , ava and  i went to sleep cuddling eachother.
