I looked at karthik and said " I wanna meet her ."

He held my hand and guided me towards the couch in my room.

KARTHIK : Baachhaa, I know u want to meet ur biological mother. But just give me two hours , i need to find information about her. Mr.gupta just told that she is S&S orphanage in Jodhpur.

I will ask ekansh to find her and get a background check on her as that orphanage belongs to his mother.

I nodded and said " you can take saanvi's help as well. She is from that orphanage ."

KARTHIK: Saanvi is an orphan?

I nodded and said " Yes , she is and she came here just a year ago when she turned 18. "

He nodded and i called saanvi.

SAANVI: Hey , babe!

AISHA: Anvi, i found my mother.

SAANVI: she is alive, seriously ? see i told u my girl can not be a murderer

I smiled and said " she works in your orphanage ."

SAANVI: ohh but there are only two caretakers - Sandhya maa and Damini maa

AISHA: I know .. I hope ms.damini is not my mother , else i wont mind killing her when i meet her

SAANVI: calm down,darling maybe she is right .. what if i deserve that ?

AISHA: Listen anvi, You didnt deserve that . She is a bitch. Remember, i promised u that whenever i meet her , the first thing i will do is punish her for hurting u .

I heard a sniff and knew she is crying.

AISHA: Darling, dont cry. I am coming over , okay . We will do the packing and till then karthik will talk with ekansh bhai and make the arrangements.

SAANVI: he- he will be there?

AISHA: u dont want ekansh bhai?

SAANVI: i dont know aish, i feel weird around him. I feel like he is my prince just like the one who helped rapunzel and freed her from that witch.

I chuckled and said " Ohhh god anvii, U are sooo innocent."

she giggled and said" u coming?"

AISHA: Yes

I hanged up and looked at karthik who was looking confused and i knew he have alot of questions.

AISHA: Ask them.

KARTHIK: what happened with saanvi?

AISHA: karthik, its her story .i cant tell u but just know that she didnt have a good childhood.

KARTHIK : why do u hate damini?

AISHA: she is the reason for her bad childhood. Karthik , can u please ask ekansh bhai to make sure that when we visit the orphanage, ms.damini is not present there?

KARTHIK: sure, sweetheart.

We then left for saanvi's house .

I rang the bell.

She opened the door and took me in a hug.

we stayed like that and left after sometime.

SAANVI : Come inside.

We both entered .

KARTHIK: Saanvi, can i ask u something?

she nodded

KARTHIK: Do u trust me?

She looked at me and i nodded .

SAANVI: i dont know .But Aisha says u are a good guy.So , i think i can trust u , right?

A small smile appeared on his lips.

KARTHIK: aisha was right , u are so innocent.

U can trust me . U are just like my little sister ,anu .

Saanvi and i both looked at me .

SAANVI: i can call u bhai ?

Karthik nodded and continued" Tell me about damini "

SAANVI: bhai , she used to beat me ,thats it

He stood up and went near her and said" Dont worry, now u have a brother. I wont let that woman come near u . i promise anu."

i noticed her eyes becoming teary.

She hugged him while he patted her head to stop her from crying.

After sometime she pulled away and said" thank you aisha"

AISHA: chup

( shut up)

She looked at me and said" it was because of u , i got a father like figure, another mother, a younger brother and now again because of u i got an elder brother"

I smiled and said" Because u deserve all the love , darling."

She smiled .

Karthik: now , girls get ready for our little trip . Ekansh said he is getting everything ready.

SAANVI: is it necessary for him to be there, bhai?

KARTHIK: u dont like him?

SAANVI: he looks scary and i feel very strange around him.

he smiled and said " he wont hurt u , i promise "

She smiled and nodded.

Karthik and i shared a knowingly look and then he left.

I helped saanvi in packing her bag.

We were in karthik's private jet.

We all were playing uno.

SAANVI: Aish?

I smiled and said" Kyu? kya meri bholi bhali beti ko kisise pyaar hogya ?"

i teased her .I saw her cheeks turning pink.

SAANVI: I guess i like mr.rathore. although he is scary but i dont know why i feel something weird in my stomach whenever i am around him.U know during ur welcome back home party, he came and asked me to dance with him, i felt so giddy when he placed his arm around my waist.

U only told me that a person feels giddy and butterflies in their stomach whenever they like someone.

I smiled and said" good to know .. Dont worry he will fall in love with u too when he will see how a cute girl like u is falling for him "

She blushed and asked" what if he hates me ? what if he is damini maa ? they both look scary"

Karthik chuckled and said " Anu, i know ekansh . He knows how to treat a women. I know he is scary but trust me he will never hurt u.

and about hating u , no one in the world can resist ur cuteness.

And if he ever hurt u , i will myself handle him .

Your brother will protect u always."

She smiled and said " i feel like i am ur adopted daughter just like that reel - yeh mumma yeh papa yeh mumma yeh papa"

We all laughed .

karthik and i said at the same time.

Soon, we reached jodhpur.

As the plan landed, Ekansh bhai was there to pick us.

KARTHIK: orphanage or hotel?

AISHA: i think we head to the orphanage . is it fine , saanvi?

SAANVI: okay , its been long since i visited orphanage.

we all headed to S&S orphanage.

After 20 minutes , we reached the orphanage.

A girl around 15- 16 years came running towards Saanvi.

Saanvi hugged the girl.

SAANVI: I missed u , noor

NOOR: I missed u too di

Soon, a lady come.

Saanvi hugged her and said " I missed u sandhya maa"

SANDHYA: i missed u too gudiya.

SAANVI: is she here?

SANDHYA: nhi beta , she had some urgent work.

a smile made its way to saanvi's lips.

We then introduced ourselves.

AISHA: maa?

SANDHYA: bolo beta

( mom, since when are u working here?)

SANDHYA: i have been working here since 19-20 years.

Tears welled up in my eyes.

I hugged her and asked " maa, why did u leave me ?"

She hugged me and said" U are my daughter?"

I nodded .

We stayed like that for some time and left.

SANDHYA: I am sorry beta. Your father forced me .I didnt wanted him to hurt u , isha baachaa."

AISHA: he still did, maa. And please dont address mr.gupta as my father .

SANDHYA: What do u mean , beta?

AISHA: He abused me ,maa. I escaped from him when i was 9 . I then my new family - Sharmas.

AISHA GUPTA died when mr.gupta sold her daughter to get alcohol for himself.

She hugged me and said" I am sorry, gudiya."

AISHA: its fine.

SANDHYA: Where is naman?

AISHA: they both are dead.

AISHA: Karthik avenged me.

She turned to him and said" thank you, beta"

KARTHIK: aese mat kahiye , mrs.gupta. Meri jaan basti h aapki beti me. I cant imagine myself without her. I will never let anyone cause her pain. Every pain has to go through to me in order to reach her.

I blushed.

We talked and spend sometime with the kids in the orphanage.

We left when it was too late.

>At the hotel<

I and saanvi were sharing a room in ekansh bhai's penthouse, while the boys had their own room.

We both decided to have a girls night.

We were currently binge watching FRIENDS.

SAANVI: Aisha, i am hungry.

AISHA: Lets go and grab some snacks.

We both headed to the kitchen.

We saw ekansh bhai in the living room working on his laptop.

I noticed it was 3 am.

AISHA: Bhai, u didnt sleep?

EKANSH : i have insomnia , aisha

He said in his usual cold voice and a blank face.

i mumbled and said " khaadus"

Saanvi giggled which made him look at us .

EKANSH: What are u doing at this time?

AISHA: We are here to grab some snacks.

He nodded and said" second compartment from left"

We grabbed some snacks and were heading to our room.

It was 6 am , when we both went to sleep.
