AADHYA'S POV

Its been a month to media's chaos .
Dhwani is  happy now .

I have been spending my evenings and often doing sleepover at the BEDI house...all for my babybug and maybe for my manyu too.

Today , I am in a mall with my friends.

When i met jiya, she smirked and walked towards me.

I look at inaaya and ask her to take our friends away.

Jiya : Hey , princess
Aadhya : Princess is not allowed to talk to peasants ....You should have book an appointment  before , miss

She glared at me and said " such a bitch , aren't you?"

Aadhya : Babe , i'm not a  bitch ...I am just treating you the way u deserve.
Jiya : Convey a message to your lover boy that the princess is in danger...better save her.

Before i could reply her , she left.
I immediately called him.

Abhimanyu :  yes , my little minx?

Aadhya : Manyu , i met jiya.

Abhimanyu : are you okay ?

I smiled and said " yes  , i am "

Before i could tell him about the threat , he said " Minx , remember when we three went out and u won in bowling and  i promised that the winner will get a movie date with me ...so i was thinking if we could go out for a movie  today ?"

I blushed and nodded.

I heard him laugh and mumbled" minx, i can't see you nod ...so better use your words "

I blush harder and mumble " ofcourse , we can go, manyu"

He informed me about the time he will pick me up  and i hang up as inaaya called me.

Inaaya :  manyu  glow !!!!...spill it , babygirl
Aadhya: Movie date with him......I am going to a fucking movie date with my manyu , inuuuu(screaming)!!!!!

Inaaya laughs and shut my mouth by placing her hand on my lips and whisper" Shutup...aadhya u are in a mall "

I pouted and she shook her head.
She looked at me and said " darling, lets get u a dress"

I nodded and dragged her to a store.
Inaaya handed me 5 dresses .
I went to the trial and came out wearing the first dress.
It was a brown top with black mini skirt.

Inaaya  whistled soflty and mumbled" aadhya , i don't want to become maasi soo early "

I laughed and said " its so cutee"

She shook her head and said " change "

I then tried the next dress which a white midi bodycon knitted dress.

Inaaya smiled and said " its nice but not for the date"

I huffed and went to try another dress.

Inaaya again denied.

I pouted as i hate trying clothes and i know inaaya was enjoying this ...
fucking sadist bitch!

I came out wearing the dress and mumbled " inu , mere manyu ki kasam ..agar ab tune mana kiya toh ...main tere dinner me zeher daal dungi"

Instead of inaaya's chuckle or another remark ,

i heard his deep voice and he whispers" you  look perfect, my little minx"

I look up and my manyu was here looking at me ... the way saanvi bhabhi looks at ekansh bhaiya.

I look down embarassed.

I saw him coming towards me and as he reached close to me , he pulled me by my waist and  held my chin softly and tilted my face upwards and kissed my nose.

I smiled and he says " aapki dhamki sunkr ...mujhe dar lag rha , ms. aadhya "

I giggled and says " aapko zeher dene se pehle , khud hi zeher le lungi main, manyu"

He shooks his head and i heard him whisper " itna na tu mujhse pyaar badha "

I smiled and whispers" Ab laut ke jaana mushkil hai......maine chhod diya hai jag sara"

He looks at me softly and says " tum pagal ho , princess"

I smiled cheekily and said " tumhare pyaar me , single dad ceo "

He laughs .

I then said " chale....?"

He nods and paid for the dress and then went for movie.

As we reached the theatre, Manyu got me caramel popcorn and coke for me.

We were half way through the movie when i felt a continuous gaze on me.

I smiled and mumbled " stop staring , manyu"

He rests his hand on my thigh casually and says " i can't figure out ...till now...if you are real or just a beautiful dream "

I blushed and said " this flirting wont get you my popcorns"

He chuckles and began to rub his hand up and down on my thigh  making me take a deep breath  .

I then notice him stealing a handful of my popcorn by his other hand.

I slapped his hand off my thigh and said " Abhimanyu !!!"

He laughs.

But then his whole demeanor changes as his phone buzzed.

He look at me apologetically.

I nodded and said " its fine, but come fast ...i will miss you"

He smiles and kiss my forehead  and went to the exit.

I continued to watch the movie.

But when minutes passed , i got restless and went to him.

He stood near the exit, phone pressed to his ear, voice low but tight.
“File it immediately. I don’t care what it takes.”
A pause...and his grip on phone tighten .
“Jiya won’t win this time. She won’t take Dhwani away from me.”

He hang up and turn around and his eyes meeting mine.

He took a deep breath and pulled me in a hug and nuzzled his face to my neck.

I felt a tear fell on my neck.

I caress his hairs and mumble" you are not alone , manyu....we are family , right ?....we will fight this together "

He mumbles " jiya wants dhwani's custody...she is dragging my princess  in this mess....my princess doesnt this messy life....i wish i could take her away from all this mess ....i thought that  ...jiya's chapter ended.... that my princess was safe , aadhya...but i was wrong...that women wants to traumatise my princess again "

I cupped  his face and kissed his forehead and looked at him and i didnt saw the strong ceo , the cold businessmen, ....i saw a father who was scared of losing his little princess.

I whispered" meri manyu ki kasam , dhwani sirf humari thi , h aur rhegi.....we will teach jiya a lesson that she wont ever forget in her life....we are in this together, manyu"

He nodded  and mumble " promise me , aadhya...you wont let my princess see me like this ever ....she deserves laughter and not a father who is scared..."

I nodded and said  while caressing his cheeks " then we'll make sure that our dhwani keep smiling "

He smiles and his phone buzzed again.

His lawyer called.

He looked at me and said " looks like the war has begun , my little minx"

I smiled and said " then lets fight this together , manyu "

We left the theatre.

In this storm  ,
I could feel his quiet love 
That refused to fade .
