SAANVI'SPOV

Its been a week since my ansh is being mean to me.

Its 4am , right now.

You all must be wondering what i am doing at this time? well, my periods think its the best time for them to grant me their presence.

So , now i am sitting on the sofa in our bedroom clutching my abdomen because it hurts alot..i have irregular periods and whenever they come , they hurts like *****.

I tried to lay down and go to sleep but i couldnt because of the fear of staining his sofa.

I got up from the sofa and went to wake up Ansh so that he can get me some pain relievers.

I shook him  and he woke up in a sec and glared at me and said " Saanvi , pagal ho tum , 4 baj aa rhe h ..vese hi nhi so pata main aur tum utha deti hu ... "

I look down immediately and whispered" Can you get me some pain reliever?"

Ekansh: Haath h tumhare pass .. jakr khud dhundlo ...faltu me utha diya..ab so bhie nhi skta....jaa rha hu main gym

He walked out of the bedroom and went to the gym.

I run inside the bathroom and locked myself in and cried .

After sometime, I heard some knocks on the door and his voice " Vita , open the fucking door......else i will break it ....mujhe office jaana h...aaj tumne aapni duties bhie nhi ki toh uski punishment bhie deni ..jaldi aao"

I gulped and opened the door and mumbled" sorry"

He shook my head and said " well , my wife ..u did a mistake and bad girls get punished soo.. now you are not allowed to eat today  and if someone ask you something and then u lie and say u are on a fast , got it?"

I nodded .

He patted my head and entered the bathroom .

I went to the closet and picked his outfit and also changed my clothes  and wore simple cotton suit .

I then went to the kitchen and mom was present.

Mom: Beta , tum itni jaldi kyu uthi?

Saanvi: Mom , ansh ke liye breakfast banana h
Mom: Yeh ladka bhie tumahara deewana ban gya.... pr tujhe koi jarurat uske itne nakhre jhelne ki

I nodded and began to cook his breakfast.

He came downstairs .

I went and set his breakfast for him.

He ate and then kissed mom's forehead and went away.

I smiled and then went to my room.

I was about to lay down when Ishaan entered and said " Bhabhi maa, yeh main kya sun rha hu?"

Saanvi : Kya hua , ishu?

Ishaan: Apka vrat h aur aapne kuch nhi khana

I nodded .

Ishaan: Aese nhi chalega , bhabhi ....aapki tabiyat bhie theek nhi lag rhi aur yeh sirf mujhe nhi badi maa ko bhie lagta..toh chalo fatafat breakfast kro mere saath...

I shook my head and said " Ishu , main theek hu , aesa kuch nhi h."

Ishaan : Theek , fir main bhie vrat rakhunga aaj apni bhabhi ke saath.

Saanvi : Ishu , zid mat kro 

Ishaan: Same for you , bhabhi

I made puppy eyes and he copied my actions.

I shook my head and said " Ishu , Khana khao ... itni baat toh manaoge apni bhabhimaa ki?"

Ishaan sighed and said " bhabhimaa, but yeh galat h ..main nhi khaunga jb tk aap nhi khaoge"

Soon , Aadhya joined and said " kya chal rha h ,guyss"

Ishaan: Fogg chal rha h 

We laughed and then i said " Aadhya , dekho na yeh zid kr rha h"

Ishaan : hawww... main zid kr rha hu ? ..aap zid kr rhe ho...

Aadhya : time please.... shuru se bataiye please

Ishaan then narrated her everything .

Aadhya : hmm , main ishaan bhaiya ki team me hu ... main bhie vrat rakhugi

I sighed and said " Main mom aur chachi se shikayat kru tum dono ki?"

Both : Aap humare saath aese nhi kr sakti ..because aap humari bhabhi ho

And they both hugged me and said" Please hume bhie aapke saath vrat rakhne do nhi toh fir aap bhie humare khaana khao"

I whispered "tum dono apne bade bhai pr gye "

They smiled and they both cuddled from my either sides and we three end up sleeping.

It was 1 pm , when i woke up and look at the duo beside me making me smile.

I got up and went to the living room.

Chachi: Dono kaha h?

Saanvi: Chachi , voh dono so rhe h abhie bhie

Mom: Tumne sbko bigaad diya h 

I smiled and said " aesa nhi mom, voh toh bus"

Chachi: hnn hnn, hume pta h sb

Mom: beta , tera dad tere haath ki chai maan rhe the.

I nodded and went to kitchen to make his tea.

I was about to enter the kitchen when my head began to spin and  then darkness engulfed me.

When I opened my eyes, I found myself lying on the bed , my head resting in Mom’s lap. Dad was sitting on the chair beside me, looking worried.

Mom: Beta… ab kaisi ho? 
Dad: Dekho Saanvi, tumhe apna khayal rakhna chahiye. Tum abhie behosh hogyi thi.

Soon , ishaan and aadhya joined.

Ishaan (worried): Bhabhiii… aap theek toh ho na?!
Aadhya: Humne suna ki aap behosh ho gyi thi… sab humari wajah se hua na? 

I shook my head and held their hands and said " nhi baachaa... tumhari galati nhi .... voh toh bus main thodi si thak gyi thi "

Mom: Doctor ne bataya ..tumhare periods chal rhe h toh tumne fast kyu rakha..... iss time toh balki acchie diet leni chahiye tumhe..

Saanvi : mom , aesa kuch nhi ..bus thode se chakkar agye the ..

Dad (firmly): Saanvi, aaj se yeh fasting–wasting band. Tumhe apna khayal rakhogi .... Tum meri beti jaisi ho, samjhi?

I nodded slowly, tears pricking my eyes at the love surrounding me—something I had been craving for days.

But deep down, fear lingered… because I knew when Ansh would return and hear about this, his anger wouldn’t remain hidden for long.

And they all began to feed me ..

The clock struck 6pm and i heard his car from driveway.

He walked in and when he saw dad feeding me , his expressions turned dark .

He came towards us and held my wrist and dragged me upstairs without saying anything.

The moment we entered the room, he shut the door loudly.

Ekansh (angry whisper): Kya naya drama shuru kiya h tumne? tumhe mana kiya tha kuch khana se ...

Tears rolled down my cheeks, but I whispered "Maine… maine aapki baat maani thi. Maine kuch nahi khaya tha…but jb main behosh hogyi thi toh sbne mujhe fast ke liye mana kiya aur mujhe khana khilane lage"

Ekansh :Sun lo, saanvi … faint hona, rona- dhona , yeh sab tumhare natak mujhe samajh aate h ....Tumhe meri biwi  ho toh  meri marzi ke hisaab se hi rehna padega aur meri marzi ke against gyi toh mujhse bura koi nhi hoga.

He then held my arms tightly and said " Saanvi , yeh last time h jo tum mere against gyi ho ..agar tum aesa kuch firse kiya toh ..main kya krunga yeh tum soch bhie nhi skti"

He released me with a jerk, and I stumbled.

Ekansh: Abse tum upar hi rahogi. Niche jaane ki jarurat nahi. Gharwalon ko lagega  ki tum rest kar rahi ho… samjhi ?

My lips trembled as I whispered " okay , ansh"

He walked out, shutting the door behind him with a  thud.

The silence that followed was deafening.

 My knees gave way, and I sank onto the floor, pressing a hand to my mouth to stop the scream building inside me. The cramps twisted painfully, but they were nothing compared to the ache inside my heart.

Something was killing me from inside and it was him - my ansh ...But i couldnt leave him because unke gussa ke baad bhie main unse utna hi pyaar krti jitna pehle krti thi .

I stayed in that position and slept thinking about our marriage.
