Five years later
The house was never quiet anymore—and they wouldn't have it any other way.
Laughter echoed through the sunlit garden as the twins darted between the rose bushes, their giggles mixing with the rustle of leaves, while their little sister sat in her baby ball pool playing with the balls and throwing them at her brothers while giggling.
Vivaan: Mumma, Avira is again eating her clothes.
Ivaan: Sweetheart, Come and play with us.
Inside, Aisha stood in the kitchen with a soft smile while looking at the kids from the window as she prepares their favourite blueberry smoothie . She felt two warm arms being wrapped around her waist from behind and kissed her temple.
He murmured with affection " They are chaotic , just like their mother "
She chuckled leaning back into him and said " She is charming , just like her father "
The love between them hadn't faded. If anything, it had grown—richer, deeper, fuller with every shared morning, every late-night conversation, every scraped knee and bedtime story.
They then made their way to the garden , carrying two trays - one with smoothies and one with snacks .
Avira began to clap her hands and mumbled ' da' seeing her father entering the garden , whereas Vivaan and Ivaan run towards their mother and hugged and glared at their father who was side hugging their mother.
Karthik: Angel , see how they are glaring at their dad.
Ivaan: Sweetheart, ask him to not hug you.
While Vivaan nodded at his older brother and Aisha laughed and said" Darling , what did mumma teach you?"
They sighed and whispered " Dad is your first love and we share you with dad because you are incomplete without dad "
Karthik blushed and Aisha ruffled their hair and said" Thats like my boys"
They soon heard a crying sound.
They all turned to Avira . She loves having their attention and when she doesnt get the attention, she knows how to get it.
Karthik made his way to her and picked her up in his arms and she instanstly stopped crying as he whispered " Kya hua , my little angel?"
Avira look at her dad with her big doe eyes and cupped his face with her small hands and mumbled " da"
Karthik smiled and said " yes , my little angel "
They all sat down , where the twins and Aisha placed the mat .
It was their weekly little picnic.
The four year old twins were sitting with their mother and while one year Avira sits on her dad' s lap and looking at her brothers and listening to them.
Ivaan: Mumma , aapko pta Vivaan ne mera toy tod diya.
Vivaan smiled innocently"Mumma, bhai ne meri painting faad di"
She sighed as Ivaan and Vivaan are always upto something.
Ivaan is wild and creates chaos while Vivaan is innocent but when he is with his older brother , he also becomes wild .
Avira giggled at her older brothers.
Avira is bubbly and charming one year old baby girl. She is the little copy of her dad.
As the evening sun dipped low, the noise finally softened. The three little ones were asleep—twins sharing stories in their dreams, and Avira clutching her favorite soft toy.
In the quiet balcony, they sat hand in hand, hearts full and smiles wide.
"Life kitni alag hai na, lekin kitni pyaari bhi," she said.
"Bilkul," he replied. "Tumhare saath sab kuch perfect lagta hai—chaotic bhi, beautiful bhi."
Soon , they heard Avira's whine.
Karthik sighed and entered the room and picked Avira and walked around her while rubbing her back and putting her back to sleep .
After she felt asleep, he made his way to the bed and waited for Aisha who had gone to twins room to check on them.
Soon after five minutes , she returned and smiled at her husband and whispered" Dono ne blanket niche gira diye the."
He softly chuckled and said" bilkul tumhari tarah h"
She smiled and laid beside him. He encircled his one arm around her pulling her closer while other was wrapped around his little angel.
And just like that, their story continued—not with "The End", but with endless new beginnings. Every messy day, every laughter-filled fight, every sleepy hug was a new page.
It wasn't just a happily ever after.
It was a happily ever chaotic, cuddly, crazy, completely ours.

And just like that... we reach the end.
"Kuch kahaniyaan sirf likhi nahi jaati... woh jee jaati hain."
Some stories are not just stories ... they serve as source of healing .
This book was one of those stories for me.
Writing it wasn't just about crafting words—it was about bleeding emotions onto the page. Every character, every heartbreak, every moment... came from a place buried deep within me. And letting it go, sharing it with the world—you—has been the most vulnerable, yet beautiful thing I've ever done.
To say this story is close to my heart would be an understatement. It is my heart.
As I close the final chapter of this story, my heart is full of gratitude—for you, my dear sunshines.
Every character, every line, every twist and turn came alive only because you chose to turn the page. So, thank you—for believing in this story, for feeling alongside the characters, and for letting them take up space in your heart.
If this book brought you a smile, a sigh, a tear, or a moment of reflection, then my purpose is fulfilled.
Thank you...
For holding this book the way I held it while writing—tenderly, protectively, with care.
For breathing life into my words just by reading them.
And for not just witnessing, but feeling this journey.
Some goodbyes are not the end. They're just a soft pause, until we meet again.
Until then—
Keep feeling deeply.
Keep loving fiercely.
And never stop believing in the magic of words.
Always,
Chhavi
